Job Description:

Client is looking for staff augmentation for an Information Security Business Analyst. This is a high-impact, mid-level role bridging the gap between technical security data and strategic business decisions. This role uses Tableau to visualize complex security metrics—such as SIEM data, threat intelligence, and vulnerability reports into actionable, user-friendly dashboards for leadership. 

Focuses on:

• Vulnerability Reporting: Visualizing patch management data, endpoint security status, and firmware updates using Tableau.
• Compliance & Risk Monitoring: Creating dashboards that track compliance metrics (e.g., NIST, GDPR, CIS) to identify risks.
• KPI & KRI Visualization: Proposing traffic light systems or percentage completion charts to showcase organizational security posture and operational risks at a glance.
• Threat Intelligence Visualization: Mapping threat actor patterns, incident response times, and anomaly detection logs.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Analyzing user-to-administrator ratios and unauthorized access attempts.
• Data ingestion/analysis tool skills are critical

Resource needs to be on-site at Client office in Bellevue, WA. Expect full time, 1yr engagement. Clients have extreme sensitivity to IP exposure.

Requirements:

Tableau data ingestion and reporting skills, understanding of various 3rd party security tooling outputs and ETL processes, understanding of vulnerability reporting and relationships to asset risks, understanding of various visualization tools in Tableau for creating reports and dashboards for various team leadership, understaffing of threat intelligence reporting, consumption and re-transmission with context, understanding of critical identify/access patterns.
