Role Overview

This organization is seeking a Senior Lead Network Engineer to deliver and support critical network infrastructure across global private data centers, colocation facilities, cloud connectivity environments, and corporate offices. This is a hands-on technical role focused on implementing, migrating, troubleshooting, and supporting production environments. The successful candidate must operate with minimal direction, collaborate across multiple technical disciplines, and transition completed solutions into stable operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, migrate, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching in Cisco Nexus and Catalyst environments, including complex Layer 2/Layer 3 designs, BGP, OSPF, redundancy, and segmentation.
  • Deploy and operate data center network fabrics and management platforms utilizing modern infrastructure tooling.
  • Design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise WAN and SD-WAN services with preferred technology platforms.
  • Implement and troubleshoot private connectivity between on-premises environments and public cloud platforms.
  • Lead complex, high-risk network migrations with clear dependency management, rollback planning, and post-change validation.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex production network issues.
  • Collaborate across adjacent technologies including next-generation firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and load balancing.
  • Contribute implementation expertise to architecture discussions, reviewing proposed solutions for operational readiness and risk.
  • Work effectively in an engineering environment utilizing automation, Infrastructure as Code, and version control tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical designs, implementation plans, methods of procedure, and operational documentation.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Experience: Candidates must possess more than 10 years of hands-on experience deploying, migrating, managing, and supporting complex enterprise and data center network solutions across on-premises and colocation environments. CCNP-level knowledge is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN design and policy, cloud connectivity (Azure ExpressRoute or AWS Direct Connect), packet analysis, and telemetry tools is required. Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Git is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Cisco CCNP or higher certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco NDFC and Catalyst Center.
  • Practical experience with Prisma SD-WAN platforms.
  • Technical familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls, Infoblox, and F5 load balancing.
