Summary

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Construction Engineer to assist with facility master planning, military engineer operations, and civil humanitarian construction projects with coalition forces, government agencies, and humanitarian organizations. This position will be located in Amman, Jodan and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

The Engineer supports the Director of Logistics, The client, and is responsible for assisting with facility master planning, military engineer operations, and civil humanitarian construction projects with coalition forces, government agencies, and humanitarian organizations. Assists the client or other military personnel with conducting quality control and assurance assessments. Has knowledge and experience in developing statements of work, cost estimation, and knowledge in Government management of real property, environmental health safety principles, and project management. Has knowledge of military engineer equipment, units, and capabilities. Coordinates with technical experts for engineering design and analysis support. Assists in the accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR.

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

1) Required Skills and Experience: Possess a military background in the U.S. Army, Air Force, or Navy engineering field having achieved the grade of CW3, O3 or above.

2) Clearance Required: Top Secret w/SCI

Possess a current state-accredited Professional Engineer (PE) license through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

3) Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changin g requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations.

4)Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.

Posted Salary Range

USD $94,150.00 - USD $101,316.80 /Yr.
