SAP MDG Supplier Master Functional Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Supplier Master Functional Lead to lead Supplier Master Data Governance initiatives across enterprise SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in SAP MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor Master), SAP S/4HANA, Business Partner Framework, Supplier Lifecycle Management, and Data Governance processes.
Responsibilities Include:
· Lead SAP MDG Supplier Master functional design, configuration, and implementation activities.
· Conduct business workshops and gather requirements from business stakeholders.
· Define supplier master governance processes, approval workflows, and business rules.
· Configure SAP MDG Supplier Data Model, Change Request Types, and governance processes.
· Configure BRF+ validations, derivations, duplicate checks, and data quality rules.
· Support SAP Fiori applications for supplier master data management.
· Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, integrations, and custom developments.
· Define and enforce supplier data standards, governance policies, and controls.
· Design and support supplier onboarding and supplier lifecycle management processes.
· Drive supplier data quality, cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with procurement, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
· Support integration between SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, and third-party systems.
· Configure and support Data Replication Framework (DRF) processes.
· Collaborate with data migration teams during supplier conversion and transformation projects.
· Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment, and production validation activities.
· Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
· Serve as the primary functional point of contact for supplier master data initiatives.
· Provide guidance and recommendations to business and IT leadership.
· Mentor junior consultants and support onsite/offshore teams.
· Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3-5 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects with a focus on Supplier Master Data.
· Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG-S (Supplier Master).
· Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and Business Partner Framework.
· Deep understanding of Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) processes.
· Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier onboarding, and supplier governance processes.
· Experience configuring BRF+, workflows, change request types, and validations.
· Experience supporting SAP Fiori applications and user adoption initiatives.
· Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
