Summary
Job Title: Application Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration workflows using Dell Boomi to connect UKG with internal and external applications.
- Build, test, and deploy custom interfaces, APIs, and data transformation processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements.
- Migrate existing or legacy interfaces into the Dell Boomi integration platform.
- Ensure integrations follow security standards, scalability requirements, and performance benchmarks.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-production troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain existing integrations to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integration architecture, workflows, and configurations.
- Experience designing and implementing Dell Boomi integration workflows
- Ability to develop, test, and deploy integration interfaces and data transformations
- Experience integrating UKG systems with external enterprise applications
- Strong collaboration skills to work with business analysts and stakeholders
- Experience with migration of legacy interfaces to modern integration platforms
- Ability to ensure secure and scalable integrations
- Experience supporting UAT, deployment activities, and troubleshooting
- Strong documentation and process management skills
- 2 5+ years of experience in integration development using Dell Boomi
- Hands-on experience with UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro, or other UKG platforms
- Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and web services
- Familiarity with HCM (Human Capital Management) / WFM (Workforce Management) domain concepts
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, or DevOps methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Dell Boomi Certification (e.g., Boomi Associate Developer)
- Experience with other integration platforms or middleware tools
- Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, or scripting languages
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
