Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) to lead large-scale enterprise financial system initiatives for a global client environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing PeopleSoft Financials programs across multiple FSCM modules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful delivery of complex business and technology transformations.

This role requires a strong blend of program management expertise, functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, stakeholder management, governance, and the ability to oversee enterprise-wide implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of complex PeopleSoft Financials programs from requirements through deployment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering multiple FSCM modules and workstreams.
  • Monitor program performance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and budget adherence.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and governance updates to stakeholders and sponsors.

PeopleSoft Financials Oversight

  • Lead initiatives involving the following PeopleSoft FSCM modules:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Billing
    • Cash Management
    • Project Costing
    • Asset Management
    • Purchasing
    • eProcurement
    • Customer Contracts
  • Ensure solution designs align with PeopleSoft best practices and business objectives.
  • Review and validate functional and technical deliverables across all project phases.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Technology, Operations, and Vendor organizations.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, solution walkthroughs, and executive status meetings.
  • Build consensus among business and technical stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
  • Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation through proactive leadership and communication.

Technical & Solution Governance

  • Collaborate with technical teams to review:
    • Functional Specifications
    • Technical Design Documents
    • Test Plans
    • Deployment Runbooks
    • Release Documentation
  • Ensure PeopleTools configurations, customizations, and integrations are documented and auditable.
  • Partner with database and SQL teams to support performance optimization and reporting requirements.
  • Validate data integrity, reconciliation processes, and system performance across financial modules.

Security, Compliance & Controls

  • Oversee PeopleSoft Security models and access governance.
  • Ensure segregation of duties (SoD), compliance requirements, and audit controls are maintained.
  • Support SOX and regulatory compliance initiatives related to financial applications.
  • Drive governance processes to ensure adherence to organizational standards.

Testing & Deployment Management

  • Define and oversee testing strategies including:
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Regression Testing
  • Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, and production cutover execution.
  • Manage post-production stabilization and support activities.

Business Partnership & Adoption

  • Partner closely with Finance leadership and business process owners.
  • Prioritize enhancements and defect remediation based on business impact and value.
  • Support user adoption through training, communication planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across PeopleSoft programs.

  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials and FSCM modules.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleTools technology and PeopleSoft core functionality.
  • Experience managing customer contracts, billing, procurement, and financial operations processes.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex enterprise programs involving multiple teams and business units.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model based in New York, NY.
  • No travel required.
