Production Support Systems Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Production Support Systems Engineer in Durham, NC.

Summary:
The Senior Systems and Support Analyst will cover multiple products. This Engineer will be primarily responsible to provide support for distributed applications promoting the availability, resilience, and stability.

Primary Responsibilities:
This associate will assist in responsive scope:
* Distributed On-Call Support
* DR Testing, Audits, Code Reviews
* Patching, Rehydration
* Maintaining Playbooks
* Certificate Management
* Maintaining Reliability and Observability

REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree in Computer Science or related field with 6 to 10 years of experience
* Knowledge of Java, Datadog, Cloud (AWS)
* Experience triaging production issues, locating performance improvements, and working with Engineering Teams
* Willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
* Experience on messaging technologies like IBM MQ, Kafka, etc. a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
