Summary

Description

We are looking for a Senior M& A Program Manager to lead complex IT integration efforts tied to merger and acquisition activity in Navasota, Texas. This Long-term Contract position will translate executive priorities into a structured program that supports business continuity, secure collaboration, and measurable readiness across the integration lifecycle. The role focuses on governance, planning discipline, risk oversight, and executive visibility while guiding teams through Day 1 execution and post-close stabilization.

Responsibilities:
Lead the overall M& A IT program by building a clear governance framework, defining decision paths, and maintaining a consistent operating cadence across stakeholders.
Develop and manage an integrated master plan that tracks milestones, interdependencies, risks, assumptions, approvals, contingency actions, and rollback considerations.
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, data, vendors, service management, and business operations to support phased integration activities.
Facilitate legally compliant pre-close planning by documenting evidence, key assumptions, readiness indicators, and decision records for executive review.
Monitor scope, schedule, and change requests by assessing effects on critical timelines, resource capacity, funding, operational continuity, and expected business outcomes.
Provide executive-level reporting that communicates readiness status, major risks, service impact, costs, capacity concerns, and integration progress in a transparent manner.
Direct cutover planning and command-center activities for close and Day 1 events to help protect essential services and support rapid issue resolution.
Drive post-close stabilization efforts by tracking open items, validating acceptance criteria, and ensuring accountable ownership for deliverables and risk mitigation.
Align business leaders, IT teams, compliance partners, and external vendors around priorities, escalations, and execution expectations throughout the program.

Requirements

Proven experience leading large-scale IT program management initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise integration efforts.
Strong background in project and program governance, including integrated planning, dependency tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams that include technical, operational, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Hands-on experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum-based delivery practices.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Jira and related tools used for tracking plans, risks, issues, and workstream progress.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex program updates to senior leadership.
