Position: Program Manager

Location: Sparks, Nevada (Onsite)

Duration: 11-month contract

Travel: 50% travel - Nevada, Arizona, and Texas

COMPENSATION: $50-55/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate multiple critical infrastructure projects within large-scale data center environments. This individual will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of concurrent data center builds while managing vendors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong program/project management expertise with a solid understanding of data center mechanical and/or electrical infrastructure systems.

This role requires a highly organized leader capable of driving schedules, mitigating risks, managing budgets, and ensuring successful project execution across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple data center infrastructure projects simultaneously from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and construction partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Lead vendor management activities, including performance oversight, scheduling, and deliverable tracking.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness activities for new infrastructure deployments.
  • Drive consistency in project governance, documentation, and reporting across multiple build programs.
  • Travel regularly to data center sites within Nevada, Arizona, and Texas to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.


Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Program Management, Project Management, Construction Management, or Infrastructure Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
  • Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure environments, preferably data centers.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, project risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as project needs require.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree is preferred but not required with relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting data center construction, expansion, commissioning, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Background in mechanical systems, including: Air handlers, Liquid cooling systems, Chillers, cooling towers, Exhaust fans, and Large-scale mechanical distribution systems
  • Background in electrical infrastructure, including: Critical power systems, UPS systems, Power distribution, Backup generation, and Data center electrical infrastructure
  • Experience working with mission-critical facilities or other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Controls and building automation experience is a plus.
