As a Haptics Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge control systems that bring Apple's haptic technology to life. You will work at the intersection of control theory, signal processing, and electro-mechanical systems to create the precise, responsive tactile feedback that millions of users experience every day on Apple devices. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of haptic control system development-from initial concept and modeling through prototype implementation, validation, and factory production support.

Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree\nStrong background in control engineering, dynamics, and signal processing\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nTeam Oriented: must be able to thrive in collaborative cross-functional environments

Hands-on experience in control system design, analysis, implementation, and validation\nFamiliarity with modeling electro-mechanical system\nProficiency with Matlab/Simulink and C/C++\nExperience with electromagnetic or piezoelectric actuators is a plus\nExperience with high volume mass production is a plus\nKnowledge of micro controller or embedded hardware/software is a plus\nKnowledge of state-space techniques is a plus\nKnowledge of nonlinear control technique is a plus\nExperience with AI/ML-based control system design is a plus\nM.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent with a specialization in control engineering
