Job Description
We are seeking an Oracle OCI Linux Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Linux systems administration and a proven ability to operate, automate, and harden enterprise Linux environments that support Oracle workloads.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Linux systems administration and operational support in OCI
- Administer Linux servers, including user and group management
- Configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Linux servers
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux networking, DNS, host files, and Windows domain joins
- Automate infrastructure and operations using Ansible and Terraform
- Diagnose and resolve OS, middleware, networking, and integration issues
- Support CIS Level 1 hardening and operational excellence across Linux environments
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance best practices
- Support Oracle-hosted infrastructure in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for automation
- Experience with Linux domain integration with Windows/Active Directory
- User and group administration, Linux networking, DNS, and host file maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting Oracle workloads in OCI
- Familiarity with CIS Level 1 benchmarks and hardening practices
