Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking experienced Project Managers – Enterprise Software & Technology Implementation for our client, County of San Mateo, CA. This is a temporary contract opportunity supporting public-sector project management and software implementation initiatives.

Position Title: Project Manager – Enterprise Software & Technology Implementation
Location: San Mateo County, California
Duration: Contract assignments under a 3-year agreement; individual assignment duration may vary
Work Schedule: County business hours, Pacific Time, as required by the assignment
Pay Rate: Based on experience and approved contract rate

Five Project Manager Specializations – Identify Your Best Fit:

1. Senior IT Project Manager

   • Enterprise software implementation

   • Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and governance

   • Risk and issue management

   • Vendor and stakeholder coordination

2. SaaS Implementation Project Manager

   • SaaS/software implementation and deployment

   • Requirements gathering and system configuration

   • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

   • Go-live, training, and post-production support

3. ERP / Business Systems Project Manager

   • ERP and enterprise business system implementations

   • Business process improvement and documentation

   • System integration and data conversion

   • Coordination with technical and business teams

4. Data Migration & Integration Project Manager

   • Data migration, conversion, and validation

   • API and system integration

   • Integration testing and cutover planning

   • Implementation coordination and delivery

5. Agile / Digital Transformation Project Manager

   • Agile/Scrum and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Manage project teams, implementation activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

• Develop and maintain project plans, governance structures, status reports, and risk mitigation plans.

• Coordinate County stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and business departments.

• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.

• Oversee system design, configuration, development, testing, and integration.

• Coordinate data conversion, data validation, UAT, and implementation readiness.

• Manage change management, communications, training, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Provide post-production support and conduct post-implementation reviews.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.

• Demonstrated experience implementing software systems or managing technology projects.

• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and stakeholders.

• Strong vendor management and communication skills.

• Experience with testing, UAT, system integration, data conversion, deployment, or change management, as applicable to your specialization.

• Ability to provide details of relevant completed projects, including client, software application (if applicable), project budget, schedule, and project summary.

• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or Prosci certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Public-sector, enterprise, SaaS, or complex business-system implementation experience is highly desirable.
