Position Summary

Seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of concurrent AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects through a team of Project Managers, establish program governance, manage budgets and resources, and provide executive-level visibility into program status, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.

The candidate must combine strong program and portfolio management expertise with practical exposure to AI, Machine Learning, and intelligent automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent AI initiatives, integrating project roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables into a unified program plan.
• Direct, mentor, and oversee Project Managers, ensuring consistent delivery standards, risk management, and reporting quality.
• Establish program governance, steering committee meetings, stage-gate reviews, and standardized intake-to-delivery processes.
• Manage cross-project dependencies, resource conflicts, risks, scope, and delivery priorities.
• Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, weekly updates, and portfolio summaries for ETI leadership and the CTO.
• Track program budgets, resource allocation, vendor performance, financials, and business value outcomes.
• Maintain program documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and financial tracking using Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Lead workforce and capacity planning, resource onboarding, staffing forecasts, and allocation across initiatives.
• Improve PMO processes, reporting standards, and portfolio management practices, including the adoption of AI-enabled delivery tools.
• Apply appropriate AI governance, responsible AI, and risk management practices.
• Make program-level decisions regarding scope, sequencing, and resource trade-offs.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 8 years in project/program management.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent technology initiatives as an integrated program or portfolio.
• Experience leading or mentoring Project Managers responsible for individual projects.
• Demonstrated program delivery experience involving AI, Machine Learning, or intelligent automation initiatives.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, or comparable program/portfolio management and reporting tools.
• Experience managing program budgets, resource planning, vendors, and contract resources.
• PMP, PgMP, or a comparable project/program management certification.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
• Experience in professional services, financial services, accounting, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and traditional stage-gate delivery methodologies.
• Working knowledge of AI agent platforms, AI observability tools, or MLOps practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A senior-level technology program leader who has managed several concurrent AI/ML initiatives, led a team of Project Managers, owned portfolio-level reporting and governance, and can communicate delivery progress, risks, budgets, and business value to CTO-level stakeholders.
