Sr Data Governance Analyst
Primary Location: Richmond, VA
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr Data Governance Analyst for our premier client in Richmond, VA.
Education and Experience
- Data Analysis 10
- Experience with Data Lineage / Cataloging 10
- Data Policy /Procedure creation 10
- Proficiency with SQL 10
- Experience with Databases (Relational databases, SQL Server, Oracle , Snowflake etc) Required 7 Years
- A bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and relevant certifications may be considered.
- Experience in government, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise data integration, interoperability, master and reference data management, and governed data products.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced facilitation skills, including leading cross-functional working sessions, navigating competing priorities, building consensus, and driving decisions to resolution.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, document, and support implementation of sustainable business processes.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to interpret policies, standards, and business requirements and translate them into practical operational processes, business rules, and controls.
- Working knowledge of enterprise data governance concepts, including data ownership, stewardship, access governance, data quality, compliance, and data lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
