Job Details

Join our team as a Network Security Administrator in a hybrid work environment, where you'll play a key role in managing and supporting LAN/WAN networks. This position offers the opportunity to implement configurations and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless network performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support LAN/WAN network administration, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement network configurations and execute work plans effectively to enhance network infrastructure.
  • Conduct on-site diagnostics and maintain physical network components to prevent disruptions.
  • Utilize network performance monitoring tools and escalate issues promptly to maintain service quality.
  • Document processes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proven experience in network security or a similar field, with a minimum of 3-4 years.
  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP subnetting and network performance monitoring tools.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills to facilitate clear interactions.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Cisco ASA, remote access VPN, and firewall technologies.
  • Experience with packet capture analyzers and Service Now ticket handling systems.
