Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer (PFMEA & Documentation) Pay Rate: $35.00-40.00 per hour Location: Rockford, IL 61016 Area Code: 779 Shift: 1st Hire Type: Direct, full-time, full benefits #pfmea #aerospacemanufacturing #engineeringjobs Job Overview: The Manufacturing Process Engineer (PFMEA & Documentation) is responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing process documentation, PFMEAs, work instructions, and material handling procedures that support safe, efficient, and standardized production. This role partners with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to support process control, product introductions, and ongoing production readiness. Key Responsibilities: * Create, maintain, and update PFMEAs for assigned product lines. * Lead cross-functional PFMEA reviews and risk assessments. * Update documentation following engineering changes, process improvements, quality events, and customer requirements. * Develop and maintain work instructions and Shipping Job Instruction Sheets (JIS). * Ensure documentation accurately reflects manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements. * Support employee training on updated processes and instructions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process consistency, quality, and efficiency. Core Qualifications: * Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering * Experience creating and maintaining PFMEAs. * Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD or SolidWorks CAD * Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. * Experience developing manufacturing work instructions and process documentation. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows. * Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities. * Due to the nature of the work ship is required Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $35.00-40.00 per hour.
