Power Apps Developer

Title: Application Engineer (Mid Senior Level)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months+ Contract
Consultant must work in EST Hours.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Application Engineers to design, develop, test, and support enterprise business applications and workflow automation solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role will focus on building scalable collaboration, automation, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Fabric technologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can independently deliver high-quality solutions with minimal documentation or oversight while participating in both development and testing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies
• Build custom business applications using Power Apps
• Develop automated workflows and process automation solutions using Power Automate
• Configure and support Microsoft Teams integrations, including Planner and Approvals
• Manage and enhance SharePoint Online and OneDrive collaboration environments
• Develop and support reporting and data solutions using Microsoft Fabric SQL
• Perform both development and testing activities, including validation of workflows, applications, and integrations
• Work independently to gather requirements and deliver solutions with limited documentation or guidance
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, integration, and data-related issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and compliance best practices
• Document critical technical configurations and business processes where appropriate
• Support deployments, user acceptance testing, and production releases

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application engineering, systems development, or enterprise business solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Microsoft Teams (Planner, Approvals)
  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive
  • Microsoft Fabric SQL
• Experience performing both development and testing responsibilities
• Ability to independently deliver solutions with little or no documentation
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform architecture
• Experience building workflow automation and enterprise collaboration solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure services and Microsoft cloud technologies
• Familiarity with REST APIs and enterprise system integrations
• Experience with governance, compliance, and security within Microsoft environments
• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform, Microsoft 365, or Azure
• Experience in financial services, private equity, or enterprise operations environments
