The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and processes.
  • Specifies and procures electrical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Optimizes existing electrical systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conducts root cause analysis for electrical failures and implements corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Familiarity with robotics and automation in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
