The Opportunity:

Are you looking for a chance to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to impact national security space missions? You understand your customer's environment and how to deploy and manage the right systems for their mission. Your ability to coordinate system transition from development to integration and test makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. If this sounds like you, come join Booz Allen to work on the Space Force's top priority space programs.

As a systems engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to help execute transition and delivery of large-scale platform architectures across both on-premise and cloud environments. This role directly supports mission-critical integration and test operations and requires deep expertise in modern software release and deployment ecosystems, DevSecOps practices, and secure multi-tenant system operation. Other tasks may include developing and executing configuration management plans, technical assessments of software deployment processes, participating in integration working groups, and providing systems engineering expertise to the program office.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience performing systems integration or software deployment processes on large-scale platform architectures
  • Experience performing system configuration reviews, configuration audits, or software deployment procedures
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Ability to be highly motivated and demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in acquisition, systems engineering, or test and evaluation of the ground segment of a space system
  • Experience leading a team for development of integration and test plans and schedules for large scale ground systems
  • Experience leading test and evaluation programs for space or ground systems
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, CS, or Physics field
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
