Job Title: Senior Python Full Stack Developer - JavaScript / TypeScript, AWS Cloud, & EKS

Location: Illinois - Hybrid - Mondays and Tuesdays are remote, rest of the days in office
Long Term Contract Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong application development expertise in Python and/or modern web technologies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications in AWS, with applications hosted and managed on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
The candidate should possess a strong software engineering mindset, be comfortable working across application and cloud infrastructure layers, and have experience delivering secure, scalable, and highly available solutions in an enterprise environment.

Technical Skills

Programming: Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
Web Frameworks: Django, Flask, Fast API, React, Angular, or Vue.js
Cloud Platform: AWS
Container Platform: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or MongoDB
Monitoring: CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK
Source Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
