An SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) Analyst or Consultant is a specialist who manages the end-to-end process of real-time electronic document exchange and statutory reporting to meet global legal mandates. This role has become critical as tax authorities worldwide transition from periodic reporting to continuous transaction controls. 

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Implementation: Leading the end-to-end design and configuration of SAP DRC on S/4HANA and ECC instances, including data mapping and reporting templates.
• Compliance Monitoring: Continuously updating system requirements to adhere to global tax mandates such as VAT, SAF-T, and country-specific e-invoicing (e.g., KSA ZATCA Phase 2, India GST).
• Integration Management: Connecting SAP DRC with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite, and external compliance tools like Pagero, Sovos, or Vertex.
• Electronic Document Flow: Managing B2B and B2G e-invoice flows through networks like Peppol, ensuring secure and high-performance document transmission.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrating compliance processes with core financial operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL). 

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 5 to 8+ years of SAP experience, with specific hands-on expertise in DRC, Application Interface Framework (AIF), and Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR).
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of XML mapping, EDI, IDoc processing, and SAP BTP integration modules.
• Functional Knowledge: Strong background in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling), SD (Sales & Distribution), or MM (Materials Management).
• Education: Usually requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Finance, or Engineering.
