Summary

Job Title: Project Coodinator
Richmond, VA
Hybrid

Work Schedule:
Hybrid (Work from home on Mondays and Fridays; In-office Tuesday through Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Oversee procurement projects from intake through completion by tracking milestones, scheduling meetings, and documenting key decisions and action items.

  • Intake Management: Manage the procurement intake process by reviewing, prioritizing, and routing requests to appropriate resources following discussions with the Procurement Director.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for internal departments, procurement staff, and suppliers to ensure timely updates and smooth follow-up.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project statuses, deadlines, dependencies, and risks utilizing SharePoint.

  • Process Improvement: Help design, develop, and implement SharePoint tools to optimize intake tracking, resource management, and departmental visibility.

  • Independent Execution: Work autonomously while closely coordinating priorities and strategy with the Procurement Director.

Qualifications & Requirements

< data-path-to-node="10">Experience & Background
  • Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating projects, processes, or administrative operations (preferably within procurement or a related business function).

  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles, tracking milestones, and handling intake workflows.

< data-path-to-node="12">Technical & Core Skills
  • SharePoint Proficiency: Strong experience using SharePoint to track project statuses, build tracking tools, and organize information.

  • Workflow Optimization: Demonstrated ability to organize information and create tools that improve visibility, accountability, and workflow management.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to bridge gaps between internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-through capabilities.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with leadership.
