Summary

Description of position:
This role will support and augment our acquisitions IT staff, ensuring the smooth operation, integration, and management of general IT systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, storage systems, networks (LAN/WAN), and related hardware/software.
  • Assist with system integrations during acquisitions including user migrations, identity management, hardware/software inventory, and network consolidation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems performance, connectivity, security, or access.
  • Administer Active Directory, group policies, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Ensure data backups are functioning properly; assist in disaster recovery planning/testing as needed.
  • Support the deployment of new equipment (workstations/laptops/printers) and manage device lifecycle tasks.
  • Maintain network security standards firewalls management, patching/updating software/firmware.
  • Document processes/procedures; provide knowledge transfer to permanent staff as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects related to ongoing acquisitions.



Experience/qualifications/education/certifications

  • 3+ years experience in IT systems/network administration roles (MS Windows Server environments required; Linux experience a plus).
  • 3+ years in endpoint management tools (Tanium preferred)
  • Experience with network configuration switches/routers/firewalls (FortiGate and Cisco preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Experience supporting system integrations during mergers/acquisitions strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam/Datto/Acronis or similar) and disaster recovery principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks/projects efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
