Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale a high-performance infrastructure layer to execute models developed by the data science group.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and software developers to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into stable production-grade systems.
• Design and optimize cloud-native environments leveraging serverless platforms like AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, and Google Cloud Functions.
• Incorporate robust automated compliance checks, identity access architectures, and least-privilege protocols right into deployment pipelines.
• Establish and enforce systemic guardrails governing data privacy, ethical utilization tracking, and operational cost controls for internal AI features.
• Reduce operational overhead across engineering units by creating highly automated, self-service infrastructure frameworks and treating the platform as a product.
• Manage and execute multiple platform initiatives simultaneously while proactively collaborating across teams to gather technical requirements.

Qualifications Must-Haves

• 4 to 8 years of proven professional experience operating within a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering capacity.
• Strong technical background working within AWS or Google Cloud Platform cloud environments, with a strict focus on serverless designs rather than Kubernetes configurations.
• Expert-level command of Terraform alongside a core policy-as-code deployment methodology.
• Practical knowledge designing secure identity and access architectures (IAM) along with automated CI/CD verification routines.
• Proficiency writing custom operations logic and integration tooling using modern languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct exposure to maintaining workflows in production machine learning spaces, utilizing APIs or vector database systems like Pinecone and LangChain.
• Familiarity with enterprise authorization and authentication solutions including Okta, Auth0, or AWS IAM Identity Center platforms.
• Experience designing asynchronous event streams, high-scale event buses, or cloud messaging frameworks.
• A dedicated product-driven perspective toward internal platforms that improves overall developer experience and workflow efficiency.
• Prior background collaborating successfully alongside data science or analytics engineering teams.
