As an Engineering Project Manager within the Product Design organization you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process for one of our iPhone Product Design teams.

You help lead a team of cross-functional partners and external vendors to meet the overall program objectives focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation cycles of new iPhones. Your ability to deep dive into material fundamentals, creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems, and collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams are key to delivering the best material solutions and products to our customers.

Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills\nFlexible and calm in the face of ambiguity\nAbility to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience\nDemonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities\nAbility to lead multi-functional communication between project teams and external vendors\nDrive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives\nCreate and manage project schedules\nProvide timely issue resolution and critical path management\nBS Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent\nDeep experience in NPI project management and mechanical engineering\nAbility to travel/work internationally 25% of year

Experience collaborating with and facilitating communication across Design, Engineering, Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very aggressive schedule, and quality goals\nAbility to independently drive projects though rapid development cycles and deliver a product\nDetailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes\nUnderstand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making\nProvide project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
