Description We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of modern cloud-based applications and platforms. This role will define architecture standards, drive cloud modernization initiatives, and partner with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available technology solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and evolve scalable, cloud-native application and platform architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives, including application migration and platform transformation.
- Design resilient, observable systems using monitoring, automated scaling, disaster recovery, and high availability principles.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
- Define cloud security, identity, networking, encryption, and governance standards.
- Design API, integration, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Support modern data platform initiatives, including data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship across engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and engineering practices.
Requirements - 8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in solution or cloud architecture.
- Strong expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
- Experience designing distributed, cloud-native applications using containers, microservices, and serverless technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and governance.
- Experience with API design, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Databricks, data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with platform engineering or internal developer platforms.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus.
