Salary: $50 - $60 per hour

We build ground mount solar from distributed generation sites to utility-scale projects, with work running across Illinois and 35+ states. Job DetailsWhat You'll Do
- Install photovoltaic (solar) electrical systems according to drawings and specifications
- Perform AC and DC terminations and wire management
- Interpret construction documents, wire schedules, and BOMs
- Apply current electrical codes and best practices on the job
- Complete material takeoffs and support tool and equipment procurement
- Mentor and support apprentices and crew members in the field
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records
- Work with foremen and project managers to meet safety and production goals
- Communicate effectively with crew, customers, and leadership
What You Bring
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license OR 8,000+ electrical working hours, verifiable with prior employers
- 5+ years of experience in solar or electrical construction
- Familiarity with PV systems and DC/AC configurations
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and specifications
- Ability to travel 100% across the Midwest and beyond, with overnight stays required
- Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving history
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
- US work authorization; sponsorship is not available
