Looking for an opportunity to lead impactful industrial projects with a global organization? We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Engineer to support large-scale engineering and construction projects in Houston, TX. This 12+ month contract role offers competitive pay, hands-on project leadership, and the chance to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives from planning through execution.

  • Coordinate engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, construction, and vendor teams.

  • Develop project plans, specifications, resource requirements, and implementation strategies.

  • Monitor project performance, track milestones, and provide progress updates to stakeholders.

  • Support construction, installation, commissioning, and field implementation activities.

  • Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and engineering change processes (ECR/ECO).

  • Manage technical interfaces with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 4+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or industrial construction projects.

  • Experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, and quality.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, engineering design processes, and database systems.

  • Understanding of engineering change management, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

  • Field experience preferred.

  • PE license is a plus, but not required.
