Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a Basic Test Analyst who will provide support to the Missile Defense Agencys Test Directorate, Consolidated Flight Test Organization for the test planning and execution of the Space-Based Interceptor program. This individual will work on the TEAMS Next Test support contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of pre-mission flight test design/scenarios and support flight test execution
• Perform pre-mission target and interceptor trajectory generation and optimization
• Perform pre-mission quantitative safety and risk analyses to ensure tests can be conducted safely in accordance with Range Commanders Council safety standards
• Support Range Safety Working Group meetings and activities to include tracking action items, data delivery schedules, and analysis schedules
• Assist with pre-mission telemetry link and radar assessments to ensure flight test architecture meets data collection requirements
• Assist senior team members in conducting COLA (collision avoidance) assessments for day of flight execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement.
• 6+ months of experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency or another large DoD customer preferred.
• Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance, and testing
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languages
• Basic understanding of Orbital Mechanics and Physics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of RF Engineering, Communication design, and processing
• Knowledge of Range Commanders Council Standards
