Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Migration Engineer - Hybrid for a 6+ month contract position with a Global Agricultural and Food Corporation located in Lakeville, MN.
Pay Rate: $ per hour This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, enabling Master Data Management (MDM), and supporting downstream operational and analytical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Azure Data Factory, and data modeling within an agile environment. This position plays a critical role in building modern data platforms and ensuring high-quality, trusted data across the enterprise, with a focus on migrating Supplier, Material, Product, and Customer data.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data tools
- Implement data integration solutions across Supplier, Product, and Customer domains
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Azure Data Factory
- Develop robust data models supporting analytics, reporting, and operational systems
- Support and enable Master Data Management (MDM) strategies
- Collaborate with Business, IT, and Data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Develop data mappings and transformation logic, with a strong understanding of JDE data structures
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity for M&A Integrations
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure stable and reliable data flows
- Leverage DevOps practices for deployment and pipeline management
Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in enterprise data migration and conversion, with a focus on data quality
- Strong expertise in SQL and stored procedures across SQL Server environments
- Hands-on experience with modern data integration and ETL tools, including Boomi, Fivetran, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Snowflake
- Experience with data quality tools for profiling, validation, monitoring, and rule management
- Experience working within the Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) ecosystem
- Proficiency in integration technologies and patterns such as REST APIs, SFTP, and middleware
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation
- Strong knowledge of Medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold) using Delta Lake
- Domain expertise in Supplier, Material, Product, and Customer master data
- Experience with data migration and conversion for MDM systems such as Stibo, Informatica etc
Desired skills: - Experience with Boomi Master Data Hub (MDH)
- Hands-on experience implementing DataGaps or any data quality tool
- Experience supporting M&A data integration initiatives
- Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation and enrichment
- Experience with data catalog tools for metadata management
- Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for automating data workflows
