Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business / Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Vision Next (VN) and the banking/cards/payments ecosystem. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, driving functional analysis, business process optimization, product enhancements, and stakeholder collaboration across card and payment platforms.

Required Skills Primary Skills
  • Strong understanding of Vision Next (VN) or similar core banking/cards platforms
  • Deep knowledge of card lifecycle management:
    • Authorization
    • Validation
    • Personalization
    • Administration
  • Understanding of banking processes:
    • Billing
    • Invoicing
    • Statements
    • Fee management (Interchange, Cash Fees, etc.)
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance and financial regulations
  • Experience performing functional analysis and product impact assessments
  • Experience in process re-engineering and workflow automation
  • Strong documentation skills for business processes, APIs, and product features
Secondary Skills
  • Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
  • MS SQL and data analysis
  • REST APIs/OpenAPI concepts and integrations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Vision Next SME and lead functional discussions with business stakeholders
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications aligned with Vision Next capabilities
  • Define and document current-state and future-state business processes
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams
  • Manage product backlog, user stories, and sprint deliverables
  • Perform functional analysis for card, billing, and customer management modules
  • Support API-driven integrations and document functional use cases
  • Lead functional testing, regression testing, and validation activities
  • Prepare management reports, KPIs, and product insights
  • Identify automation opportunities and process improvements
  • Maintain JIRA dashboards and Confluence documentation repositories
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of Business Analysis experience in Agile environments
  • Hands-on experience with Vision Next or similar banking/cards platforms
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payment and card processing workflows
  • Experience working with API-based and microservices architectures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong product mindset with focus on scalability and reusability
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience creating user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience overseeing test planning and execution
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and process optimization capabilities
