Infrastructure / Network Project Manager
Top Consulting is looking to hire an Infrastructure /Network Project Manager for our team. Candidate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure and network-related projects across our manufacturing clients.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing infrastructure and network initiatives within manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments, with an understanding of OT systems, plant floor constraints, and high-availability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
o Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and network projects, including plant network upgrades, server/storage deployments, cloud connectivity, Wi-Fi expansions, security initiatives, and data center or site migrations
o Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with manufacturing operational needs
o Manage multiple concurrent projects across corporate offices and manufacturing facilities
o Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication at all levels
o Partner with plant leadership, engineering, and operations teams to align IT/OT initiatives with production schedules and uptime requirements
o Coordinate infrastructure work in active manufacturing environments, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety compliance
o Understand and account for OT systems, industrial networks, PLCs, SCADA, and plant-floor equipment dependencies
o Oversee network-related initiatives including LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and plant connectivity
o Coordinate server, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery projects
o Support cybersecurity initiatives impacting infrastructure and manufacturing environments
o Manage relationships with vendors, systems integrators, and service providers
o Lead vendor selection, contract coordination, and performance management
o Coordinate internal IT resources, contractors, and cross-functional teams
o Identify and mitigate project risks related to security, safety, production impact, and regulatory requirements
o Ensure projects comply with company standards, cybersecurity policies, and industry best practices
o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, timelines, and post-implementation reviews
Qualifications
o 5+ years of project management experience supporting infrastructure and network initiatives
o Proven experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments
o Strong understanding of network and infrastructure concepts (LAN/WAN, firewalls, servers, cloud connectivity)
o Experience coordinating projects in environments with strict uptime and safety requirements
o Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
o Preferred experience with OT/IT convergence, industrial networks, or plant modernization projects
o Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks relevant to manufacturing (NIST, IEC 62443)
o Experience managing multi-site or global manufacturing projects
