JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Skills:
· Experience in education (Catholic school experience strongly preferred).
· Proven experience in strategic planning and organizational leadership, including translating vision into measurable results.
· Background in program oversight and impact evaluation, preferably within education, nonprofit, or network-based organizations.
· Demonstrated leadership in educational technology integration.
· Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts.
· Proven ability to work effectively with superintendents, principals, and teachers.
· Experience managing budgets, staff, audits, and board processes in a small-organization environment.
· Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
· Familiarity with FCC regulatory processes or telecommunications partnerships.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or related area of study.
- Catholic school experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years in a senior management or executive role (e.g., President, Executive Director, Vice President, or equivalent).

Position Summary:
This position provides visionary and operational leadership for acquiring and integrating advanced digital and AI-driven learning systems across Bay Area Catholic schools. Building on a strong foundation of technology integration, this leader will guide the client into the next phase of innovation—ensuring that emerging technologies enhance teaching, learning, and operational effectiveness while honoring the culture and mission of Catholic education.
The ideal candidate brings experience in education, understands the day-to-day realities of teachers and principals, and demonstrates the ability to translate rapidly evolving technology into practical, mission-aligned classroom applications. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the mission and values of the Catholic Church and its commitment to education of the whole person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Technology Leadership
• Develop and implement a forward-looking technology vision aligned with the future of education in the Bay Area.
• Present new and innovative technologies to the client Board, diocesan Bishops, and Superintendents
• Support principals and teachers in addressing emerging technology challenges.
• Ensure all initiatives reflect and reinforce the mission and culture of Catholic schools.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—that enhance teaching, learning, and school operations.
Vendor & Partnership Management
• Negotiate and manage annual and multi-year vendor contracts to secure high-quality services, favorable pricing and long-term value.
• Represent client at key industry events to cultivate vendor relationships and evaluate emerging solutions.
• Maintain the client relationship framework with T-Mobile and coordinate with attorneys regarding FCC agreements and renewals.
• Oversee timely payment and management of legal services related to telecommunications agreements.
Diocesan & Executive Engagement
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with Bishops and Superintendents across partner dioceses.
· Secure diocesan alignment on the client''s strategic direction and major technology initiatives.
· Collaborate with diocesan leadership to ensure appropriate time and support for major program implementations
Organizational & Operational Leadership
· Provide overall leadership of organizational operations, including budgeting, staffing, compliance, and reporting. Manage budgets, staff, audits, and board reporting consistent with best practices for small organizations.
· Prepare and present clear and strategic reports for board meetings and key stakeholders.
· Ensure fiscal responsibility and operational effectiveness of the client''s programs.
· Lead with accountability, transparency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
