ETL Developer (Precisely Connect)

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer with hands-on experience in Precisely Connect to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust ETL processes, ensuring data quality, and supporting enterprise data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Note: Client is specifically looking for Presicely Connect experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Precisely Connect.

• Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, APIs, etc.).

• Optimize data integration jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows.

• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data issues.

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.

• Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.

• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.

• Support production deployments and provide on-call support when required.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 3+ years of ETL development experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Precisely Connect.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

• Experience working with data warehouses and dimensional modeling concepts.

• Knowledge of data integration best practices and performance tuning techniques.

• Experience with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating mainframe data sources.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools.

• Experience with version control systems (Git).

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
