Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Type: Contract

• Work Arrangement: Remote (Must be available to report on-site per business requirements)
• Location: Columbus, Ohio (Candidates local to Columbus preferred)
• Interview Mode: Virtual via Teams (2nd interview may be in-person for local candidates)
• Shift: EST

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Act as the Solutions Architect for Salesforce implementations, designing end-to-end technical solutions.
• Development: Build and maintain solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio tools, including OmniScript, DataRaptor, and Flex Cards.
• Programmatic Solutions: Develop custom logic using Apex, Visualforce, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Integration: Connect Salesforce with external systems using SOAP, REST, and BULK APIs.
• Data Migration: Design and execute data migration strategies on the OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation platform.
• Leadership: Troubleshoot complex issues, lead code reviews, and provide technical guidance to development teams and the PMO.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Developer.
• OmniStudio Expertise: 3 years of hands-on experience with Vlocity / OmniStudio.
• Platform Proficiency: 5 years of experience with Apex, Visualforce, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
• Modern Web Tech: Proven experience building applications in Salesforce Lightning and developing LWC.
• Integration: Strong background in integrating external applications via standard APIs.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical discipline.

Highly Desired Skills

• 6 12 months of experience with OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation components.
• Salesforce Developer or Architect Certifications.
• Strong background in data migration and troubleshooting within the OmniStudio ecosystem.

Soft Skills & Methodology

• Expertise in Agile environments (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP).
• Ability to articulate technical decisions to leadership and stakeholders to drive consensus.
• Excellent collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Designers, BAs).
