Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves performing moderately-complex to complex manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. The position requires working a rotating 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and focuses on large-scale solution preparation, and equipment handling.
Responsibilities: - Routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ensure components and products are available for a continuous operation
- Handle specific responsibilities including moving totes, large scale solution prep batching, cleaning equipment, steaming equipment, and prepping equipment
- Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages
- Use computer systems to support training, communication, and electronic batch record documentation
- Safely follow standardized operating procedures including material handling, record keeping, assembly and packaging
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report any discrepancies to ensure quality standards and safety
Requirements: - High school/GED with 1 year of work or military experience, or an Associate's degree
- Biotech DS manufacturing experience, preferably in solution preparation
- Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system
- Basic GMP knowledge
- Understanding of Electric Batch Records, DeltaV, and LIMS
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be reliable, a team player, and able to follow SOPs
Pay range: up to $23.35 per hour
