Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for a DevOps Engineer supporting the Navy tactical communications systems. In this role, you will modernize and streamline the software delivery lifecycle by building automated CI/CD pipelines, managing Linux-based server infrastructure). If you possess a strong foundation in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), modern automation tooling (Ansible, Bash, Python), and CI/CD pipeline orchestration. Travel up to 10%

You Will:
  • Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
  • Build and automate GitLab or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate DEVOPS tests using ROBOT Framework.
  • Maintain source code in software repositories (Git).
  • Administer Red Hat virtual machines (KVM) and containers (Docker/Podman)
  • Automate maintenance and configuration tasks using Bash and Ansible.
  • Research and resolve software trouble reports impacting functionality.

You Have:
  • Must currently possess and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Robot, Jenkins)
  • Programming/scripting languages (Bash/Python/etc.)
  • Git, GitLab, GitHub Pipelines, Artifactory, Confluence and Jira.
  • Knowledge of server architecture, compute, and storage configurations.
  • Strong documentation and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities.
  • Self-Motivated, strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • A passion for learning about, and working in the IT industry.

We'd Be Impressed If You Had:
  • Practical experience embedding automated SAST, DAST, SCA, and secret-detection tools in DEVSECOPS pipeline.
  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform

Education/Experience:
  • BS Degree in relevant technical field or combination of education and experience
  • CompTIA Security+
  • 8-10 years of Linux system administration experience
  • 5 years of software development experience using Python
  • Bash and shell script development experience
  • 3 years' experience working with a wide range of IT products
