As the online consumer banking business of Goldman Sachs, Marcus operates as a digital bank, providing high-yield savings accounts and Certificates of Deposit (CDs) directly to individual consumers. We're looking for an experienced Web Engineer to join our Marcus Software Engineering team in AWM. This role is ideal for an engineer with at least 6 years of experience in Software Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of React JS and HTML5. We're looking for someone who is keen to learn and has excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills and is passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences.

Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
Provide digitally-advanced financial products to retail consumers
Collaborate with globally-located cross functional team in building customer-centric products
Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks
Help to drive a new, strategic, business line
Integrate with best in class strategic partners
Drive funnel optimization and client acquisition

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholders
Expertise in React JS, HTML5
Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product heads, and executive level stakeholders
Experience building transactional systems and strong understanding of software architecture
Experience integrating with Restful web services
Comfort with Agile Operating Models

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Comfort operating in a matrix environment
Experience with microservice based architecture
