Senior Salesforce Developer (PR5)

Location: Columbus, OH
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 10 months, with possible extension (W2)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions that drive critical business and public sector operations. This role will serve as a technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver scalable Salesforce applications, integrations, and automation solutions leveraging Salesforce OmniStudio and Public Sector Foundation capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce development expertise, strong integration experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications using:
    • Apex Classes and Triggers
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Salesforce Flow
    • Visualforce
    • SOQL/SOSL
    • OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware platforms, and integration tools such as MuleSoft.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance on Salesforce architecture and development best practices.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to established development standards and quality guidelines.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate requirements.
  • Conduct impact analyses and identify system dependencies for proposed enhancements and changes.
  • Participate in design reviews and recommend scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
  • Support Salesforce administration activities, including:
    • User support
    • Security and access management
    • Data management
    • System configuration
    • Process automation
    • Reporting and analytics
  • Support deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Contribute to DevOps initiatives and continuous improvement efforts related to Salesforce development and delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
    • Apex
    • Triggers
    • Batch Apex
    • Salesforce APIs
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio, including:
    • FlexCards
    • OmniScripts
    • DataRaptors
    • Integration Procedures
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience using CI/CD tools and DevOps practices, such as Gearset, Copado, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, and related development tools.
  • Experience with source control and version management platforms such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce OmniStudio solutions.
  • Experience supporting Public Sector Foundation implementations.
  • Experience with Grants Management solutions within Salesforce.
  • Experience migrating data or implementing new solutions on the Salesforce Public Sector Foundation platform.
  • Experience developing and supporting Experience Cloud sites.
  • Ability to guide teams in resolving complex OmniStudio and Public Sector Foundation challenges.
Certifications

One or more of the following Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (PDII)
