Mandatory Requirements

• Must have extensive F5 Load Balancing design experience
• Minimum 80% hands-on experience as a Load Balancer Engineer
• Must be able to attend an in-person interview
• Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer to design and implement complex load balancing solutions for enterprise-level applications in a large financial environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in F5 architecture, traffic management, and custom rule development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex F5 load balancing solutions
• Configure and manage F5 LTM and GTM
• Develop and manage advanced F5 iRules to control traffic flow and manipulate headers
• Partner with project managers and solution architects on technical deliverables
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for mission-critical applications
• Support high-availability and disaster recovery architectures

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert-level experience with:
• F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
• F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager)
• F5 architecture and design
• Strong experience writing and managing F5 iRules
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Strong scripting/programming experience in:
• Python
• Java
• TCL
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• Perl
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient load balancing solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams

Preferred

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Experience supporting high-traffic enterprise applications
