Technical Project Manager
Location: Phoenix and NYC- Need only local

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing complex software development projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Track KPIs and project performance metrics.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in project management practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IT project management.

Strong technical background in software development (Java, Python, .NET, Cloud, APIs, Microservices, etc.).
Experience working with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience in data, AI/ML, or digital transformation projects.
Experience in banking/finance/healthcare domain (if applicable).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
