IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Tableau Administrator to be responsible with the creating and maintaining the framework that enables Tableau users to publish, share, manage, and connect to data sources and workbooks. The Tableau Administrator manages users and their access to projects, workbooks, and data sources.

Tasks

• Support users, manage access and security, and keep the Tableau environment running smoothly
• Add and remove staff licenses for Tableau test and production environments.
• Update security permissions for staff in Tableau environments.
• Execute Tableau configuration scripts to add new business areas of MDHHS to the Tableau servers.
• Promote Tableau workbooks from test to production.
• Monitor and maintain PHA Tableau MS Team site including user administration.
• Monitor and maintain Tableau SharePoint site.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including analysts, developers, and business users
• Provide help desk support and conduct user training.

• Professional demeanor and reliability in a publicsector or enterprise environment
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, processes, or agency standards as needed
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities

NOTE: Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 60 miles) at time of submission. Relocation not allowed. This requirement is non-negotiable. Hybrid schedule 2 days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Skills Required:

1+ years in the following:

• Experience professional programmer/analyst experience using Python
• Experience of Tableau Site Administration and Dashboard Development.
• Experience in MS Teams Administration.
• Experience working with SQL Queries.
• Experience as technical trainer in classroom setting
• Experience with Power BI, including report development, and supporting business users
• Associate's Degree
