Summary
We are seeking an experienced DB2 Administrator to manage and support enterprise-level database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in DB2 administration, performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery, along with the ability to support mission-critical systems in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end DB2 database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Conduct database performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning
- Manage database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Utilize DB2 utilities such as LOAD, REORG, and RUNSTATS
- Support mainframe environments using JCL
- Handle database object management and automation through scripting
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root-cause analysis
- Document technical designs and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations
