Summary

We are seeking an experienced DB2 Administrator to manage and support enterprise-level database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in DB2 administration, performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery, along with the ability to support mission-critical systems in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end DB2 database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
Conduct database performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning
Manage database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
Utilize DB2 utilities such as LOAD, REORG, and RUNSTATS
Support mainframe environments using JCL
Handle database object management and automation through scripting
Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root-cause analysis
Document technical designs and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations
