Job#: 3055750 Job Description: Apex Systems is looking to hire an
ONSITE Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client based out of
Greensboro, NC.
This assignment is anticipated to be a
6-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:- Manage collection activities for outstanding accounts receivable through email and phone communication.
- Review customer accounts, aging reports, and payment history to identify outstanding balances and potential financial risks.
- Utilize SAP and financial reporting tools to research account activity and support credit and collections processes.
- Assist with incoming payment application and resolution of account discrepancies.
- Support credit hold and release activities and maintain accurate collection reporting.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and work toward timely payment resolution.
- Analyze account trends, identify issues, and partner with internal teams to resolve payment and account concerns.
Experience:- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or a related financial function.
- 2+ years of experience in credit and collections.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Experience working with SAP financial systems or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, credit, collections, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review aging reports, identify account risks, and resolve discrepancies.
