Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a Business Analyst.

Responsibilities:
Intake & Project Evaluation:
* Review and assess incoming project requests across a broad portfolio of initiatives
* Partner with business stakeholders to understand the core problem, desired outcomes, and success criteria
* Apply high-level effort and complexity assessments (e.g., T-shirt sizing: small/medium/large/very large)
* Identify key dependencies, risks, assumptions, and cross-functional impacts early in the intake process
* Document clear, concise summaries of project asks to support prioritization and decision-making

Embedded Project Support:
* Embed within active project teams to support detailed requirements gathering and analysis
* Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process flows, and user stories as appropriate
* Partner with Project Managers, IT, and functional teams to ensure shared understanding of scope and expectations
* Support solution design discussions by bringing business context and analytical rigor
* Help maintain alignment between original business intent and delivered outcomes

Cross-Functional Enablement:
* Work across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and other functions to understand end-to-end processes
* Quickly build domain knowledge in unfamiliar functional areas through structured inquiry and analysis
* Support change management and adoption by ensuring requirements reflect real-world business needs
* Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO intake templates, analysis tools, and documentation standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
* Mid- to senior-level experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise initiatives
* Proven ability to quickly assess ambiguous project requests and translate them into structured requirements
* Strong experience working across multiple business functions (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT)
* High comfort level working with technology-enabled solutions, systems, and data (ERP, reporting tools, workflows, etc.)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and clarity
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex topics succinctly
* Ability to ramp quickly in new domains and operate effectively with limited documentation
* Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
* Experience working in manufacturing, operations, or enterprise transformation environments is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
