Title: Data Scientist (Remote)
Duration: 9 Months (Temp. to Perm.)
Location: Remote (Preferred PST Time Zone), preferably within 100 miles of San Diego, CA
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities
• Maintain, build and optimize data warehouse, developing ETL solutions, automatized data flow, and analytics “as-a-service” environment
• Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, data enrichment and machine learning engineering
• Build and operate the tools we use as well as the infrastructure to label data, create features, train, evaluate and serve both online and offline models.
• Drive and implement automation to empower the organization to scale efficiently and with flexibility
Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):
1. 2+ years working Experience in Databricks, Data/Delta lake, Oracle, or AWS Redshift type relational databases.
2. 1+ years of Experience with AWS/Google Cloud Platform Cloud or equivalent on data integration with Glue, Kafka, Elastic Search, Redshift, RDS, Kubernete, or BigQuery ecosystems.
3. 2+ years working experience in Python-based data integration and pipeline development.
4. Building Agentic AI, understanding the architecture behind this.
5. AWS and Python experience is a must have.
6. Recent gen AI like Claude or any Gen AI, Graduate SQL exp needs to be there
Preferred Skills (nice to have)
1. Strong experience with source control systems such as Git and Jenkins build and continuous integration tools.
2. Highly self-driven, execution-focused, with a willingness to do "what it takes” to deliver results as you will be expected to rapidly cover a considerable amount of demands on data integration
3. Experience developing CI/CD pipeline
4. S3, Lambda, SageMaker are additional requirement
