Workday Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant to support, configure, and enhance Workday Financial Management modules. In this role, you will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, optimize business processes, and ensure efficient system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Expenses, and Asset Management.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Support end-to-end implementations, system enhancements, and Workday upgrades.
• Perform unit testing, support UAT, and ensure successful deployments.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing user support.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, and external partners.
• Prepare functional documentation, reports, and user guides.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials.
• Strong hands-on experience in Workday Finance configuration and support.
• Good understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with Workday reporting (standard and custom reports).
• Knowledge of integrations (EIB required; Workday Studio is an added advantage).
• Experience working on implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and gather business requirements effectively
