Job Description

We are seeking an Intelligent Automation Engineer to support enterprise automation initiatives with a focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Automation Anywhere (A360), API integration, and IDP technologies, and a proven ability to design, build, and support scalable automation solutions that align with business goals.

Candidate Screening Questions

• Describe an RPA or IDP solution you designed or implemented, including platforms used and current production status.


• Explain your experience integrating automation with other systems or applications, such as APIs, databases, or enterprise platforms.


• Describe any experience integrating automation solutions with cloud-based AI services such as Azure AI or Google Vertex AI.


• Explain how you evaluate whether a business process is a good candidate for automation, including feasibility and risk considerations.


• Provide an example of post-production support, such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or meeting SLAs.

Resume Review Priorities

• Hands-on RPA and IDP experience with clear proof, including Automation Anywhere (A360) and Intelligent Document Processing.


• Integration and architecture mindset, including REST APIs, JSON, auth tokens, enterprise systems, and databases.


• Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, test, and deploy automation solutions aligned to business requirements using RPA and IDP platforms.


• Provide post-production support, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues to meet SLAs.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate solutions with existing systems and services.


• Ensure adherence to CoE standards, security, risk management, and change management practices.


• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to achieve objectives and resolve issues across portfolios.


• Participate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change effectively.


• Recommend solution approaches and provide technical direction across configuration, testing, and implementation.


• Support operational stability through monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement.


• Apply familiarity with cloud architectures and AI/ML service consumption patterns.


• Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, acting in the best interests of Key s clients and Key.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) RPA platform.


• Experience in process simulation or automation, solution development, and business analysis.


• Familiarity with IDP tools such as ABBYY or equivalent OCR/IDP technologies.


• Understanding of system integration concepts, including REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, and error handling.


• Working knowledge of process engineering software systems.


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating with Azure AI services and/or Google Vertex AI.


• Experience or knowledge in the banking or financial services industry.


• Experience designing and implementing solutions using UiPath or Power Automate in addition to Automation Anywhere.

Skills:

• Leverage platforms to rapidly develop and deploy business solutions.


• Participate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change.


• Ensure adherence to IT policies, change management, and security standards.


• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences. Facilitate effective meetings with clear outcomes.


• Troubleshoot by gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data, and recommend solutions. Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving.


• Use tools to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.


• Support multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities concurrently.


• Stay current with emerging technologies and improve solution design.
