Title: Global Sourcing Senior Business Analyst

The Global Sourcing Senior Business Analyst is a senior individual contributor role responsible for owning and leading complex analytical and sourcing workstreams end to end.
As part of the Global Sourcing Center of Excellence, this role partners with Global Sourcing Leadership nd Category Leads to define problems, shape strategy, deliver fact-based recommendations, and drive measurable outcomes across multi-brand, global sourcing initiatives representing multi-million-dollar spend. This position will provide a great opportunity to learn about the operations across our global brands as well as in a wide variety of spend categories and sourcing markets. This position is responsible for working on a daily basis with key Sourcing stakeholders across our global scale. The successful candidate is expected to:

• Support implementation and benefit realization
• Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Escalate issues with clear recommendations and mitigation options
The role operates with limited supervision, requires strong judgment, and plays a key role in shaping sourcing decisions across Client''s global portfolio.
The position will be responsible for the following areas:
1. Project-level Analytical Support
2. Financial Tracking and Reporting
3. Systems and Data management
4. Support/ Lead Sourcing Efforts
End-to-End Analytics:
5. Own analytical workstreams for major global sourcing initiatives from problem definition through recommendation and execution support
6. Work closely with the Global Sourcing Leadership Team (responsible for each spend category) to identify business opportunities, define/ clarify a problem statement, and develop an analysis plan
7. Gather, organize, reconcile, clean up large data sets and conduct relevant analyses
8. Synthesize insights into clear, decision‐ready recommendations, including financial impact, risks, and tradeoffs, and develop executive‐level presentations for senior leadership (e.g., CFO, CPO) that are clear, concise, and action‐oriented
End-to-End Analytics:
5. Own analytical workstreams for major global sourcing initiatives from problem definition through recommendation and execution support
6. Work closely with the Global Sourcing Leadership Team (responsible for each spend category) to identify business opportunities, define/ clarify a problem statement, and develop an analysis plan
7. Gather, organize, reconcile, clean up large data sets and conduct relevant analyses
8. Synthesize insights into clear, decision‐ready recommendations, including financial impact, risks, and tradeoffs, and develop executive‐level presentations for senior leadership (e.g., CFO, CPO) that are clear, concise, and action‐oriented
9. Build and maintain interactive dashboards with clear performance indicators to support ongoing decision‐making
10. Ability to understand end to end process and create process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the supply chain
11. Develop implementation plans, timelines, and ownership models to support execution
12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders from our Brands across the world throughout the whole process
13. Sample analyses include: cost-benefit analyses, buy vs. lease, ship vs. buy-local, "what if” analysis, custom spend reports
14. Coach other Business Analysts in the team on data analytics
Support and Lead Sourcing Initiatives
15. Support throughout the 7-Step Sourcing Process, from data analysis, market research, RFP, to vendor negotiations and implementation
16. Act as an analytical thought partner to Category Leads across multiple spend categories to successfully implement sourcing efforts
17. Influence sourcing strategy through data driven insights and independent challenge of assumptions
18. Lead smaller sourcing initiatives independently, including strategy definition, analysis, and execution
19. Support larger, complex sourcing initiatives by owning analytical and commercial workstreams
20. Support/Manage sourcing events within eSourcing tools, ensuring data integrity, discipline, and stakeholder alignment
Financial Tracking and Reporting
21. Partner with Finance, PMO, and Category Leads to ensure savings, benefits, and value creation are accurately tracked and validated
22. Monitor savings, and proactively identify risks, and escalate when appropriate
23. Report on sourcing impact and value‐add initiatives across brands and categories
Systems and Data management:
24. Act as a senior user and advocate for sourcing and analytical systems
25. Identify system and data improvements and work with system teams to drive enhancements
26. Ensure procurement data is accurate, comparable, and decision‐ready across brands (items, vendors, taxonomy, hierarchy)
27. Support sourcing leads by managing eSourcing events
28. Drive adoption of sourcing systems and tools across stakeholder groups
• 4-5 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, sourcing, finance, or related roles
• Demonstrated experience owning complex initiatives end to end, not just executing delegated tasks
• Proven ability to operate independently with limited direction
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders through insight and structured recommendations
• Prior sourcing or supply chain experience strongly preferred
Master''s degree (MBA, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance)
29. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
30. Strong experience working with large datasets (e.g., SQL, Access, or equivalent tools)
31. Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
32. Strong PowerPoint skills with a focus on executive level storytelling
33. Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
34. Strong analytical judgment and comfort with ambiguity
35. Ability to independently prioritize, anticipate issues, and drive work forward
36. Confident communicator able to influence without authority
37. Highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
38. Detail oriented with a strong sense of accountability for outputs
39. Comfortable operating in a fast paced, global, matrixed environment
40. Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions focused
41. Interest or experience in the travel and tourism industry
